1 Star Why wouldn’t they include this with stroller?
What an annoyance. Why wouldn’t Uppababy include this 20$ piece of plastic with the 700$ Vista stroller? At least make it clear when you buy the stroller, that it will be necessary to buy another item in order to be able to go out in the rain. As it stands, we will wait another two weeks to receive this ridiculous cover to be able to go out in the rain. I do NOT recomend this stroller, for several aditional reasons.
5 Stars Just a great all around Baby Stroller…
During the 9+ Months of my little 13 week old baby girl I researched every stroller from US/EU/ and South Korea as it is where my wife and I reside as we work for the US State Dep. After looking at all possible strollers, travel systems and umbrella strollers, and every other combination imaginable. Finally, my wife and I decided that the UPPAbaby Vista Stroller 2010 combined with the Car-seat w/adapter Chicco Keyfit 30 Infant Car Seat, Adventure .
Well, I can say that I am 99.9% satisfied with my purchase and feel that I got my money’s worth for it. Please know that I do not believe that the UPPAbaby 2010 or any other stroller is perfect, yet this stroller just covered everything we needed. First I would say that for a full size/stroller systems I find that despite the fact that is NOT a lightweight stroller I find it to be a good manageable weight. I must also comment on fact that one GREAT feature of this stroller is the incredibly large basket underneath, which we use constantly as we go everywhere with Erica and the UPPAbaby Visita and we carry groceries, and anything, you will be thankful.
Now, about the “Pram” I would say that it feels very nice to the touch and it was great to take Erica on nice walks in the Korean winter, spring and now early summer. Also, having the ability to switch as needed between the “Pram’ attachment and the Chicco Keyfit 30, is a breeze taking little effort to unlatch and latch the car-seat adapter, it just works! I would like to also comment on the design with the Floating arch “no kick” rear axle is great as I am 6’2″ and with the one button telescopic handle-height adjustment I have no problem walking never hitting the back of the stroller rear axle.
I also love the fact the it includes the mosquito netting and rain cover for the Pram and Seat; unfortunately the Pram rain cover is not included costing and additional $19.95, which I ordered through Amazon and worked fine, yet should be less expensive. Regarding the “Cup Holder” UPPAbaby Vista Cup Holder accessory base on many reviews, just looks very badly designed, thus I did not purchased it. Instead you might want to consider the Sunshine Kids Stroller Accessory Buggy Buddy, which fits perfectly on this stroller. Sunshine Kids Stroller Accessory Buggy Buddy.
Lastly, you NEED to acquire the “Shady Baby” parasol ShadyBaby Sock Monkey Stroller Parasol, SPF 50+ Stroller Umbrella – 24″ Diameter which just completes the UPPAbaby Vista adding great shade to the baby with 50UFP protection and it just looks great attached to the stroller, and I don’t even need to remove it when folding the stroller!!!
I would definitely purchased it again…
5 Stars Fits perfectly
This cover worked fantastic with my Vista. The air vents made sure it wasn’t too hot in the stroller and still kept my baby very dry and comfy. It’s made well and has nice heavy plastic. We used this the whole week while visiting relatives in Florida and I didn’t have to worry about the stroller at all.
Agree with previous reviewer on Uppa choosing not to include this with the stroller but then again how many new babies end up in rain storms? Since the rain cover for the seat is included with the stroller, I don’t mind paying an extra $20.
